How to scope a custom casino build
Turn a broad product idea into a brief a technical team can actually assess.
Define the user journey
Describe the action the player or operator needs to take, where the journey starts and what a successful outcome looks like. Screenshots or a rough flow are often more useful than a long feature list.
Separate launch requirements from later improvements. This helps the team discuss a first deliverable without treating every possible feature as essential.
Record the existing systems
List the platform, wallet, content feeds, reporting tools and back-office systems the new product must work with. Share the available documentation and indicate which integrations are already live.
Mark decisions still open, such as whether a component should be built, adapted or connected to an existing service.
Agree on ownership and review
Identify who approves product decisions, supplies assets, reviews milestones and handles operations after launch. Discuss code ownership, maintenance and support as part of the scope.
A good brief lets both sides identify unknowns early. The first conversation can then focus on feasibility and next steps.
Talk through your project
Share your requirements and we can discuss the next step.
